7.14 Allowed-value sets

The Sales/Usage Reports defined in the DSR standard make intensive use of allowed-value sets. These allowed-value sets are shared between all DDEX standards. The allowed-value sets, the allowed values and their definitions are contained in the DDEX data dictionary available from https://kb.ddex.net/reference-material/current-allowed-value-sets/ .

The Sales/Usage Reports defined in the DSR standard contain a mandatory AvsVersionId Cell in the HEAD Record identifying the version number of the allowed-value sets used in the creation of the Sales/Usage Reports. The AvsVersionId value at publication is 8.

DDEX may update the list of allowed-value sets over time and this may therefore require the AvsVersionId number to be increased. When this happens, the new current AvsVersionId will be publicised on the DDEX knowledge base. Any such updated version of the allowed-value sets which is issued on a date after the publication date of the DSR standard forms part of the DSR standard.
